\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffc Wine in Kayak <\/strong>is a singular activity organized by\u00a0Bodega Su\u00f1er<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in which you will be able to go down the Ebro river in kayak and at your own pace. We will have an initial tasting among vineyards and then we will move to the winery for a full tour, where we will be introduced to the ‘clotxa’, a typical dish of the Ribera d’Ebre.<\/p>\n

The activity is open to all audiences (children need to be over 5 years of age) and takes place between the towns of M\u00f3ra d’Ebre<\/strong> and Ginestar<\/strong>. We will arrive there by letting ourselves be slowly carried away by the gentle and calm waters of the Ebro.<\/p>\n

How does Wine in Kayak <\/strong>work?<\/h2>\n

The exciting kayak adventure begins with the welcoming of the participants at the pier of M\u00f3ra la Nova<\/strong>, where qualified guides will give a short seminar covering technical and safety instructions about the handling of the kayak.\u00a0\ud83d\udea3\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2640\ufe0f<\/p>\n

The Wine in Kayak<\/strong> activity will continue with the participants choosing one of the various kayaks or canoes available for going down the Ebro. These can be one, two, three or even four person (which is ideal if you want to descend the river with children).<\/p>\n

You can also standup paddleboard down the river if you are a fan of this water sport.<\/p>\n

At the pier of M\u00f3ra d’Ebre<\/strong> we board our kayaks and begin the trip downstream.<\/p>\n

Throughout our journey we will enjoy and get to know the riparian vegetation, as well as learn to differentiate between types of birds. And it doesn’t end there… because we will also be told about the famous Battle of the Ebro, the hardest of the entire Spanish Civil War.<\/p>\n

And in this way, after much paddling and dipping, we will reach Ginestar<\/strong>, where we will visit an estate of the bodega Su\u00f1er<\/strong> family. There, we will start tasting one of their wines while we are taught how vineyards are cultivated, what their climatology is and on what type of soil do they settle.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, we will visit another of the family’s estates, where we will continue with the tasting before heading to the winery to learn about the winemaking and vinification process. We will finish the commentated tasting at the winery’s facilities, where we will discover the red wines of the bodega Su\u00f1er <\/strong>and participate in a tasting of the famous \u2018clotxa\u2019, a traditional dish of the Ribera d’Ebre. Children will instead be able to taste must.<\/p>\n
