Orien-tast in Estol Verd winery

👉🏼 Orien-tast is a group wine tourism experience. It is an adventure and hiking activity where you will have to look for several wines hidden in different places while discovering the landscapes of the DO Tarragona.

The activity is suitable for children and there will be a surprise for them.

How does Orien-tast work?

Once you arrive at the Estol Verd cellar, located in Rodonyà, you will be explained what the activity is about. First we will download the app for free (for Android devices) and choose the difficulty of the route we want to follow.

We will only have to follow the directions given in our mobile phone as we walk along paths that go between forests and vineyards through the region of the Alt Camp. Once we discover the treasure 🏴‍☠️ in the form of a wine bottle, we will be able to taste the wine and aswer the easy questions that will appear in the app. 🍷

Therefore, we will learn about the world of wine in a fun and unconventional way, and at the end of the activity we will be rated according to our sensory abilities, being given one of three ranks: future promise, gourmet or sommelier. 🥇

Sumoll Route: 15€
Circular route with a 3km length (2:30h) suitable for all members of the family including children (without stroller). The route starts from the square in the castle of Rodonyà and finishes at the cellar. We will walk among dry stone constructions in the form of margins, masies and barracks. We will continue to advance through a corridor and a forest in order to reach a Sumoll vineyard plantation, a native variety of the Rodonyà area.

Syrah Route: 15€
2 km long circular route (2 hours) suitable for all members of the family including children (without stroller). The route begins and ends at the currenly abandoned Masia Estol Verd. Throughout this route we will immerse ourselves in history and nature as well as breathe fresh air. We will walk through lands with different grape varieties: Ull de Llebre, Muscat of Alexandria, Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Syrah.

Xarel.lo Route: 15€
2 km long circular route (2 hours) suitable for young and old alike (without stroller). The route beings and ends at the abandoned Estol Verd masia, which gives name to the cellar. Starting from the masia, we will enjoy an eminently agricultural landscape that has been carefully shaped by human hand. We will also walk across several lands planted with vineyards of different grape varieties: Ull de Llebre, Macabeu, Syrah and Xarel·lo.

If you like walking even more, we suggest routes of up to 6 km taking place in the area of the monastery of Santes Creus and Les Pobles. 🚩
